Scale Service Technician

Calibration Services Ltd. is growing by leaps and bounds and is recruiting a Scale Calibration & Repair Technician. We are looking for a person who has an unwavering persistence, commitment, passion and enthusiasm for this work. We are a growing Industrial Measurement Company that Sells, Services, and Engineers all types of Industrial Measurement Equipment.

The Technician is responsible to provide the calibration and / or repair of customer’s industrial scales either at the customer’s facility or in our workshop. Upon completion of calibration or service work, the technician must enter data into calibration software and create Certificate of Calibration for customer.

General Duties:

• Maintenance, calibration and/ or repair of Industrial scales.
• Respond to Call Service (Emergency) to fix and repair Customer’s scales – calls could be during or after working hours. Must be willing to work some overtime and weekend hours – may also include some limited overnight travel.
• Mostly perform calibration / repair work unsupervised.

General Requirements:

•Background knowledge of electronics / instrumentation is essential. Candidates with prior experience in scale calibration and repair will be considered first.
• Full driver’s license
•Current FAS Safe Pass.
•Excellent spoken and written English.
• Physically fit & able
• Ability to work in all types of environments; industrial, agriculture, aggregate, quarries, pharmaceutical, etc.
• Welding and or Concrete knowledge is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Computer literate
• Attention to detail in work and paperwork
• Performance driven and customer focused

•Engineering and Electrical Qualifications would be a distinct advantage..
